Description: Happy Birthday Hubble! 24 April 2020 it's 30 years since ESA's and NASA's space telescope was launched into orbit. It has since provided us with awe inspiring photographs of the universe, that has amazed the general public for their beauty and been a great contribution to astronomy. Our celebration art shows Hubble against a backdrop inspired by star cluster.
Description: As an artist who likes to draw and paint spooky things, I've mostly stayed away from depicting other people's characters. Then in the summer of 2015 I had this idea to do a series of portraits of characters that I like from movies and books centered around Halloween, and by mid-October I had completed 5. Fast forward to the Spring of 2017 and we have Series 2, featuring all female characters. This is Mildred Hubble from the 80's TV movie "The Worst Witch".
