Description: As an artist who likes to draw and paint spooky things, I've mostly stayed away from depicting other people's characters. Then in the summer of 2015 I had this idea to do a series of portraits of characters that I like from movies and books centered around Halloween, and by mid-October I had completed 5. Fast forward to the Spring of 2017 and we have Series 2, featuring all female characters. This is Mildred Hubble from the 80's TV movie "The Worst Witch".
Description: The Milky Way galaxy is about 200,000 light-years across with 100 to 400 billion stars. Our sun, Sol is 26,000 light-years from the center on the Orion-Cygnus spiral arm. A great gift for astronomers, space enthusiasts, space geeks, telescope stargazers, science students and teachers who love astro physics, earth sciences, planets, stars, meteorites, comets, black holes, nebula, speed of light, parsecs Hubble and sci-fi.
Description: Believed to be the cosmic fire of creation by the Maya of Mesoamerica, M42 blazes brightly in the constellation Orion. Popularly called the Orion Nebula, this stellar nursery has been known to many different cultures throughout human history.
