Description: During a trip to my home town of Port Hardy BC on Vancouver island, i made time to do several plien air paintings (painting outside). This beach is in the main village next to the first nations reserve. Capturing home in paint was like taking a photograph but better, it was like I was capturing the essence of a place and its ever changing tides.
