Description: The legendary Squonk, weeping cryptid of Pennsylvania's hemlock forests. This shirt "design" was based on an illustration by Coert Du Bois in Fearsome Creatures of the Lumberwoods, With a Few Desert and Mountain Beasts, a 1910 "fantasy field guide" by William Thomas Cox (specifically as it was reprinted in the January 28, 1912 issue of the New York Daily Tribune).

Because of its misfitting skin, which is covered with warts and moles, it is always unhappy...Hunters who are good at tracking are able to follow a squonk by its tear-stained trail, for the animal weeps constantly. It lives in the northern woods of Pennsylvania and is one of the cutest and saddest cryptids out there! While the squonk has been around since the early 1900s, I am the original creator of this viral squonk design and drawing - created in 2011!
