Description: Tilly is the unofficial mascot of Asbury Park, New Jersey. He is a familiar face in town and based on a real person. The face is on buildings all over town and on lots of merchandise--from books, to pencils, to stickers--lots of stickers. The real person behind the face was either instrumental in founding the city in the late 19th century, or a relative of such person. Either way, his image is alive and well at this storied Jersey Shore destination!
