Description: Sekhmet the daughter of Ra, one of the most feared goddesses of Egypt. I love mythology, interpret the images of the past is one form of keeping the myth alive. The story tells, she was so angry with the enemies of the Pharaon that she started to killed them all, but after a while her thirst was unstoppable. That's why Ra, fearing she will end with humanity, put a jar of beer and pomegranate juice near her while she was sleep. When she woke up, thinking it was blood, she drank the whole jar, she became so drunk that her heart became soft and then fill with love, transforming her rage to love for humankind.
Description: This design is based off a piece of Ancient Egyptian artwork located in The Met depicting a goddess making an offering, possibly of some sort of reed. The hieroglyphs are damaged, but the text indicates a king who is beloved of "Atum in the Hwt-Sr." The original artwork was damaged and I have maintained this in my version making a unique take on "traditional" renderings of Ancient Egyptian designs!

She is often depicted in a winged form with a throne on her head, the throne being part of the hieroglyphs used to spell her name. I have based my version of Isis off various New Kingdom artifacts.
