Big Block Socks
Description: The 426 Hemi was an engine produced for use in NASCAR and not initially available to the general public. The name refers to the hemispherical cylinder head or hemi-head, while the 426 was from the 2nd generation of engines released in the mid 1960s that displaced 426 cu in (7.0 L). It was used in classic muscle cars like the Charger, the Challenger, Barracda ('Cuda), Daytona and Super Bee that today can sell for millions of dollars. Distressed for a vintage/retro look.
Description: The 1971 Charger R/T represented the final years of the classic muscle car era before rising insurance costs, emissions regulations, and fuel concerns began to reshape the American automotive landscape. Featuring the dramatic "fuselage" body styling introduced in 1971, the Charger R/T combined aggressive looks with serious performance. Buyers could choose from several powerful V8 engines, including the legendary 426 Hemi and 440 Magnum, delivering the kind of straight-line speed that made these Detroit muscle cars famous. Distinctive R/T badging, a performance suspension, hood treatments, and bold graphics helped set it apart from lesser models. With lower production numbers than earlier Chargers, the 1971 R/T is truly a rare bird.
Description: Pop Goes the Presidency: Time for the 25th Retro 3D Block Letter Protest Subtlety is over. This chunky pop-art lettering from Puff Sumo stacks TIME FOR THE 25TH in blue, white, and red block type with a heavy black shadow and a 3D red edge, like a comic book cover shouting from the newsstand. It's big block energy for a big constitutional moment: the succession clause exists, the vice president and cabinet can use it, and plenty of people are ready to say so. Printed in punchy primary colors that jump off any background, it turns a serious demand into something people can't help but look at. A hot take in retro color-block style for rallies, group chats, and anyone who wants to drop the hammer with a grin.
Description: One of the rarest Challengers of all time is without question the 1970 R/T SE which was officially a one-year-only option, just 3,979 SE-optioned R/T hardtops were built. When you look into the combination closely, it's actually rather intriguing. The SE package is a styling and convenience group with a vinyl roof incorporating a smaller rear window opening with external bright moldings. Integrated with the R/T package, with a big-block wedge, you've got yourself an uncommon muscle car that is both stylish and ready to duke it out on the strip.
Description: Drag race starting times by the flagman in the early days were not uniformly accurate, so a new timing system could hopefully be developed to correct the problems and ensure a fair race. As the story goes, Chrondek Corporation founder Oilver Riley was approached in 1962 with an idea of a step-light countdown system. LaVerne, California-based Chrondek was already working on portable timing systems before this proposal, and began refocusing their efforts to include what is now known as the standard Christmas Tree, which was debuted by Chrondek at the 1963 U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana.
