The team was owned by the Pastor brothers, who also owned the Pepsi Cola Bottling Company of WNY. In a true marketing move, the team featured the iconic Pepsi bottle cap with the Buffalo name across the bottle cap as their jersey crest logo. The teams last season was 1969-1970, in which they won the AHL Calder Cup Trophy. In the fall of 1970, the NHL Buffalo Sabres began their inaugural season. This image features a “embroidered look” logo, typical of the crest sewn on the game jerseys. Own a piece of Bisons nostalgia!
