Description: "Tastes like sunshine... tastes like California!" California Crushed Fruit began producing Mission brand soft drinks in Los Angeles in 1929 and while they produced several flavors, Mission Orange was so successful that in 1933, they renamed themselves The Mission Dry Corporation. By the '50s, they were going by Mission of California, with Mission Orange as their core product. Production remained in Los Angeles throughout Mission's existence, but by the '60s, their sodas were being bottled all over the US until their demise in the early '70s. Despite their advertising and 'Naturally Good' tagline that would have one assuming their sodas were natural or healthy, we can only assume that they were just like any other soda.
