Description: Welcome to the Cardiff Heights Custard Club, where the dress code is classy, the custard is creamy, and the mascot appears to take dessert far more seriously than anyone reasonably should. This gloriously nonexistent Cardiff Heights establishment celebrates the finer things in life: a good bow tie, a generous bowl of custard, and absolutely no questions about whether you’re having seconds. Perfect for anyone who believes dessert deserves its own exclusive club. Cool fact: Custard in various forms has been enjoyed for centuries, with recipes for egg-thickened custards appearing in European cookbooks as far back as the Middle Ages.
Description: Finally, a club with a sensible membership requirement: a willingness to take custard far too seriously. Camberwell Custard Club isn’t a real business, but its dapper custard connoisseur stands ready to preside over vanilla, chocolate, caramel, baked, pouring and unnecessarily prestigious Reserve custards. Perfect for dessert devotees, retro mascot fans and anyone who has ordered pudding purely as a delivery system for more custard. Cool fact: Alfred Bird invented egg-free custard powder in 1837 because his wife was allergic to eggs, proof that love sometimes looks like industrial quantities of yellow sauce.
Description: Welcome to Preston Pudding Parlour, the entirely fictional dessert shop where every meal ends exactly where your grandmother said it should: beneath an irresponsible quantity of custard. Serving sticky date pudding, jam roly-poly and other hot, comforting desserts requiring both a spoon and a brief recovery period. Perfect for Preston locals, pudding loyalists and anyone who believes fruit becomes optional once raisins are involved. Cool fact: Alfred Bird developed egg-free custard powder in 1837 because his wife was allergic to eggs.
