Description: Fiore’s Delicatessen opened in 1970 in Chicago's West Town neighborhood, and stayed busy for the next five decades. The classic Italian market was popular for its authentic homemade deli offerings, from meatballs and marina sauce to party trays and sub sandwiches, all made with the finest imported meats and cheeses. Fiore’s is said to be the first to offer the Lent favorite pepper and egg sandwich in Chicago, and even after 50 years, nobody has stepped up to dispute the claim.

Description: I was attempting to design a mobile suit that was specifically themed after Historical European Martial Arts and this was the final product. While it isn't as close to something more dedicated to HEMA or historically inspired, it's still a pretty sick giant robot. And that's all we really need it to be at the end of the day.
Description: I spent two lovely years living in Florence, Italy, and I miss it so much. This design represents a beautiful piece of Italian architecture. Thankfully Brunelleschi lost the baptistry door competition; because of that he went to Rome, discovered linear perspective and the pantheon. Then he came back to Florence and presented his secretive plan to the Medici about how to build the duomo. He kept it a secret and to this day it's a mystery exactly how he pulled it off.

I am the elephant and I have a castle for a burden / And never do I kneel down nor do I lose my true place." And now you too can bear his four animals and carry their virtues wherever you go.
Description: Florence's Duomo is the city's most iconic landmark. Capped by Filippo Brunelleschi's red-tiled cupola, it's a staggering construction whose breathtaking pink, white and green marble facade and graceful campanile (bell tower) dominate the medieval cityscape. Sienese architect Arnolfo di Cambio began work on it in 1296, but construction took almost 150 years and it wasn't consecrated until 1436. I took this photo on a visit there and gave it a painterly treatment in CC and Topaz.
