Description: In the late 1960s, Ford set about developing the third-generation Cortina, the Mark III, which would be produced in higher volumes than before following the merger of Ford of Britain and Ford of Germany into the modern-day Ford of Europe. The car marked the convergence of the German Taunus and British Cortina platforms with only minor differences between the two, hence the car's internal name TC1, standing for Taunus-Cortina. It was also the last European car engineered by Harley Copp as Vice President Engineering and head of Brentwood, before he returned to Detroit.
Description: Lotus Cortina is the commonly used term for the Ford Cortina Lotus, a high-performance sports saloon, which was produced in the United Kingdom from 1963 to 1970 by Ford in collaboration with Lotus Cars. The original version, which was based on the Ford Cortina Mark 1] was promoted by Ford as the "Consul Cortina developed by Lotus", with "Consul" later being dropped from the name.[
Description: A boho-inspired design inspired by the Sheffield indie rockers with late-night swagger, with "I wanna be your Ford Cortina I will never rust" front and center. Earthy tones, hand-drawn florals and a sun-faded finish give it a free-spirited, festival-ready feel. Made for music lovers, vinyl collectors and anyone who knows every single word. Wear it to the next gig, the festival or a lazy weekend spin of your favorite records.
