Description: I have a lot of designs that promote freedom of expression, anti-censorship, free speech, and the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. But I wanted to do something that emphasized freedom of the press since Trump has amped up his virulent attack on it and even individual reporters as evidenced by his recent rant at the White House Correspondence dinner so unbecoming of a U.S. President. He does not hide his hatred of democracy anymore, and we must all fight back if we want to keep it - let alone make it better.
Description: A bold typographic design centered on the word “PRESS,” symbolizing the importance of journalism and the protection of a free press. The strong, minimalist lettering reflects the power of truth, accountability, and independent media in a democratic society. With its clean black typography and direct message, the design represents support for journalists, press freedom, and the essential role of news media in informing the public and defending freedom of speech.
Description: This vintage-style typewriter design delivers a timely message: “Free Press = Strong Democracy.” It’s more than a slogan—it’s a direct response to rising authoritarianism and ongoing assaults on journalism. President Trump has repeatedly targeted the press, echoing authoritarian strongmen by labeling journalists as “the enemy of the people,” dismissing real reporting as “fake news,” and working to erode public trust in the Fourth Estate. This design pushes back—celebrating journalism, free speech, and the essential role of a free press in any functioning democracy. Perfect for journalists, writers, educators, and anyone who believes truth still matters and are fed up with Trump’s attacks on the free press.
