No gunfights, no horses at the drive-through and absolutely no tumbleweeds in the milk jug, just frontier-sized coffee served faster than your shadow can reach the counter. Cool fact: Solar noon is when the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky for the day, and it doesn’t necessarily happen at 12:00 on the clock.
Description: Pull up a velvet chair at Highfields High Society Tea Rooms, the entirely fictional establishment where the silver is polished, the sandwiches are tiny and every customer is automatically promoted to minor royalty. No title is required. Order a pot of tea and you’ll be addressed as “Your Grace” until the bill arrives. The crowned corgis oversee ceremonial matters, although neither has completed basic food-handling training.
