Description: "We The People" is hand lettered based on the original lettering in the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution (my lettering is not an exact copy, but I tried to be faithful to the original document as much as possible). I applied paint in Photoshop to create a red, white, and blue version which looks great printed on dark surfaces. I must say, I am surprised at how well this version of the design has sold, and grateful to everyone who has purchased one from my shop.
Description: Yasuke — Eyes on the Horizon, Blade at His Side He does not look down. He never did. Yasuke — the African warrior who crossed oceans, earned the rank of samurai under Oda Nobunaga, and rewrote what was possible in feudal Japan — stands here battle-worn and unbroken. Katana at his hip. Kanji of a forgotten chronicle bleeding through the parchment behind him. This original portrait series renders Yasuke not as myth but as man — scarred, weathered, and still standing. High-contrast figurative art layered in distressed earth tones and deep shadow. For those who know history is not always written by the victors — sometimes it’s worn by them.

Description: I made this design based on the Preamble of the United States Constitution. I hand lettered "We the People" based on the original lettering (my lettering is not an exact copy, but I tried to be faithful to the original document). For the body text, I used Edwardian Script. This version of my design looks best on light colored clothing. I recently updated this design to thicken up the linework so the lettering prints well on fabrics.
