Description: Jupiler is a Belgian beer introduced in 1966, now brewed by Anheuser–Busch InBev at Piedboeuf Brewery in the Jupille-sur-Meuse neighbourhood of Liège. Jupiler is the highest selling beer in Belgium, with around 40 percent share by volume. Jupiler is the main sponsor of the Belgian Pro League, the highest Belgian football division, as well as the second division in the Netherlands, the Eerste Divisie. They also sponsor the Belgium national football team and have sold special beer cans featuring photographs of the players. Its slogan is "Men know why" (Dutch: "Mannen weten waarom"; French: "Les Hommes savent pourquoi").

The company was a prominent shirt sponsor of Borussia Mönchengladbach during the 1990s. In 2005 the company produced 1,006,000 hectoliters of beer. Description: The Hemelinger Actien Brauerei was a brewery that had been based in what was then a Bremen suburb and is now the district of Hemelingen since 1878. In 1921, the Aktienbrauerei was taken over by Beck & Co. The HAB brewery was closed in 1981. The original company premises on Hemelinger Bahnhofstrasse were used for a long time as a branch and distribution warehouse for Beck & Co. and as a bottling plant for Bremer Erfrischungsgetränke GmbH (concessionaire for Coca-Cola). In 2007, the company was taken over by Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke GmbH ; the site was closed on July 1, 2016.

The abbey of Leffe was founded in 1152 on the river Meuse in the province of Namur in southern Belgium.
