Kachina Socks
Description: For years I’ve been photographing skyscapes of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona where I live. To see the modus operandi behind this characterization, please see the description in my Dances with Cloud Kachina collection at Fine Art America. All I can say in the brief space allotted here is that it is a creative act of Spirit - communing with Cloud Kachina - what the pueblo Indians of the southwest call the great force behind the sky, clouds, and weather generally speaking. It is neither exclusively nature mysticism as in elementals (i.e., sylphs) nor is it purely scientific as in crenelating contrails. It is both, depending on how you prefer to look at it.
