Low Tide Socks
Description: Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of North Berwick at low tide, where the exposed rocks unveil the enchanting landscape of East Lothian. A solitary figure gazes towards the iconic Bass Rock, a volcanic plug that stands sentinel in the Firth of Forth. This tranquil scene captures the essence of Scotland's rugged coastline, inviting you to explore the natural wonders and rich wildlife of this renowned bird sanctuary. Let the calming hues of summer transport you to this picturesque scene.
Description: Artist illustration of a watercolor I painted featuring boats resting on the exposed ocean floor during low tide at the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada. The peaceful, muted tones of the landscape capture the calmness of the moment, as the boats wait for the tide to rise before setting sail again. The rocky cliffs in the background add depth and texture to the scene, bringing to life the beauty of this coastal region.
Description: Teignmouth in Devon (UK) is a picturesque little seaside town that sits at the end of the Teign estuary. The rock here is classic Devonian sandstone - a red coloured stone that can be seen in the famous red sands and the cliffs (that the train weaves its way through en route from Exeter to Plymouth). Half the pub sign is missing, so I'm not sure its full name, so for now its the New 'Q'! This view of a corner of the harbour area is the first of hopefully many that I'll be painting over coming months. Painted in oil on a 16x12 inch board.
