It was located in the Royal Exchange, Bank Junction, London. Down an alleyway next to St. Michael's church. Dickens wrote ‘the ancient tower of a church, whose gruff old bell was always peeping down at Scrooge out of a Gothic window in the wall’ of the view from Scrooge’s counting house.
