Description: Toes Beach Jetty in Playa del Rey (PDR to locals) is the northernmost end of Playa del Rey. The beach was named by a group of local surfers one summer day circa 1961 as "Toes Over Beach," "Toes Beach" or just "Toes”, a name derived from the "toes over," "toes over the nose" or the Hang Ten surfing maneuver. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Surfrider Foundation. Protect the waves and beaches you love!
