Description: n 1977 the publishing houses Klett (founded in 1936 by Ernst Klett) and Cotta (founded in 1659) unified and formed Klett-Cotta. Since its foundation, the concentration on a high class literary program was fundamental, as Klett-Cotta has been one of the most important publishing houses during the classical epoch in Germany (e.g. publications of Friedrich Schiller and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe). Until today the publishing house manages the rights of important German writers like Ernst Jünger und Gottfried Benn.
