Description: Monsoon season strikes the southwestern US each year around July. In 2020 the monsoon season got off to a slow start in Tucson, AZ, where I had hoped for a lot more rain than actually showed up. This is the best shot I got during our two week stay. Here you see a nice healthy lightning bolt strike the Rincon Mountians, southeast of Tucson, as the storm approached the southern entrance to Sabino Canyon.
