Rod Socks
Description: The B&M Hydro Stick became the only patented four-speed automatic racing transmission in history when it launched in 1961. Based on the popular Hydramatic line of transmissions, the B&M Hydro Stick allowed racers to manually shift their automatic transmissions. In a time when manuals ruled the track, B&M’s Hydro Stick changed the game by making it possible to keep an automatic transmission in low gear until the driver decided to upshift.
Description: If you were a hot rodder or street racer back in the late '60s, you probably remember seeing more than a few of these 'Weirdos, Freaks, Wackos, and Creeps Anti-Social Club' stickers on the back of cars at races and meets. It was kind of like the official unofficial club for those that didn't quite fit into the more organized groups. Our updated version still includes Mr. Cyclops, but fresh typesetting and a nice set of crossbones to add a little attitude. Get your freak on!

Description: J.C. Whitney & Co. began in 1915 as The Warshawsky Company, a scrap metal yard on the South Side of Chicago, founded by Lithuanian immigrant Israel Warshawsky. Israel’s son Roy come onboard, and his first contribution was to create a catalog, advertising it in national magazines. For 25-cents, customers would receive their catalog, chock-full of parts to help them work on and customize their cars. Response to the ad was overwhelming, and the company soon began shipping more parts through the mail than over their Chicago sales counter. The name changed to J.C. Whitney & Co. to give it a more American sound. Post WWII was an incredibly profitable time for J.C. Whitney as returning G.I.s got the hot rod bug, and needed parts in droves.
