Cited as a key example of the literary technique of multiple focalization, the novel includes little dialogue and almost no action; most of it is written as thoughts and observations. The novel recalls childhood emotions and highlights adult relationships. Among the book's many tropes and themes are those of loss, subjectivity, the nature of art and the problem of perception.

Description: State and national parks were an important part of my childhood. In these designs, I try to evoke the love and appreciation I have for the parks and all they contain as well as designs of the 1970s and 1980s in the typography, coloration and simplification of image. Whitewater falls is in the northwest corner of South Carolina. It’s an easy, short paved walk to the top of the falls accessible by stroller and wheelchair. Take a picnic because there are no restaurants in the area but there are picnic tables and an open grassy area.
