Description: Stylized design of Hati and Sköll. In Norse Mythology, Hati and Sköll are the two wolves that chase the moon and sun respectively, trying to devour them, never quite catching either (they finally do during ragnarok which will cause the sky & the earth to darken and collapse).

Description: In ancient times, brother and sister - Mani and Sol ( Moon and Sun ) sometimes stopped their run in the sky, to see what happens down, on ground, and lingered for a long time in one place. Many were unhappy with this.. Therefore, Odin, the father of the gods, gave them two shadowers, two giant wolves. This was sons of Fenrir - Hati "He Who Hates", or "Enemy" and Skoll "Treachery". Day and night they hunt brother and sister, and when they get too close, eclipses occur..
