Skull Horror Obscure Magic Socks
Description: Long before streaming was a thing, you had to hunt and peck for hard to find movies on VHS, especially those in the horror genre. If you were lucky, you had a mom and pop video store that shared an interest in obscure cinema and carried stuff that the chain video rental places didn't. For most of us, this meant finding a VHS mail order business. A subsidiary of Los Angeles based adult film distributor, Select-a-Tape, Midnight Video specialized in low-budget exploitation horror films in stylish VHS display packaging. They sold through mail order ads in the back of horror magazines and comic books. Cinephiles would check off the boxes next to the titles they wanted, write a check, and then send off their order.

If you were lucky, you had a mom and pop video store in your neighborhood that shared an interest in obscure cinema and carried stuff that the chain video rental places didn’t. For most of us, this meant finding a distribution company that sold direct via mail order, and Midnight Video was one such distributor. Midnight Video specialized in hard to find movies on VHS, most of which were horror films. They sold through ads in the back of horror magazines and comic books, so Cinephiles would send off a check or money order, and wait for their tapes to arrive.

Description: This is my render of THE MAGICIAN, a very cool Tarot card with a beautiful meaning. I have kept some of the classic symbolism, like the snake belt, the infinity symbol, the sword and pentacles... I just made it weirder and more "my own". This card suggests you should use your will power, strength and intelligence to move forward and take action instead of holding yourself back. Determination is the key!
Description: Step beyond the veil and into the unknown. This hauntingly beautiful design features a luminous moth suspended above a mystic skull beneath moonlit symbols and a star-filled cosmic sky. Paired with the evocative phrase "Into the Void of the Night Where the Whispers Lie Sleeved," the artwork captures themes of mystery, transformation, hidden knowledge, and the pull of the unseen. Perfect for lovers of gothic aesthetics, dark fantasy, occult symbolism, witchy fashion, celestial art, night creatures, and esoteric imagery. The rich combination of moth symbolism, lunar elements, and cosmic wonder creates a striking design for those drawn to the strange and beautiful.
