Description: This one was probably the most tricky piece since the dog itself has white fur. Obviously painting a white dog on white paper wouldn’t make for much to look at so to tackle this I painted an under painting of yellows and purples over the dog firstly, giving me a tone I could work with that shows through the transparent white. This also helped me with shading some areas since all I had to do was paint the highlights and leave the underpainting as shadowed areas.
