Description: I have been a fan of Doctor who since the 70s. Over the past few years i have done a series of Paintings from Space and time to pop art splat. This is part of the Pop Art series which is based on the swirl of the time vortex. The original painting that these images come from are much bigger and in a Wide screen style. To use these for T shirts etc I have cropped the design and modified them from my original paintings.
Description: This my first digital painting in a few years. It was inspired by the climax in the 'Parting of the Ways' of Doctor Who Series One. I think this might be the beginning of a series on the Doctor's Companions. Rose was a slow burner in most regards. I didn't like her the first couple times I tried watching Doctor Who. But by the end of Season one, especially at this moment, I loved her. Now it's difficult to imagine Doctor Who without Rose.
Description: It seems that every Whovian has "their" Doctor. This is usually their first Doctor or their favorite Doctor, or both. I don't like playing favorites. "My" Doctor is always the one I'm currently watching. But, be that as it may, the ninth Doctor introduced me to Doctor Who. I've told the story many times - I didn't like the show at first. I didn't hate it either. I just didn't find it very interesting for the first three to five episodes. On many levels, Doctor Who is sort of a slow burner, as there are a lot of strange things about the show, especially for an American.
