Description: THE OTHER IRAN DEAL WAS BETTER THAN HIS (Dark Version) The other Iran deal was better than his. Simple. Factual. Infuriating. This distressed letterpress typography design says what a lot of people are thinking about the current administration’s approach to Iran nuclear negotiations. Bold civic commentary for anyone paying attention to foreign policy, international diplomacy, and the slow erosion of deals that actually worked. Wear the comparison. Original protest typography from Puff Sumo — where civic humor meets heavyweight design. For the politically awake, the historically literate, and everyone watching the news in disbelief.
Description: Michel Foucault quote: The new governmental reason does not deal with what I would call the things in themselves of governmentality, such as individuals, things, wealth, and land. It no longer deals with these things in themselves. It deals with the phenomena of politics, that is to say, interests, which precisely constitute politics and its stakes; it deals with interests, or that respect in which a given individual, thing, wealth, and so on interests other individuals or the collective body of individuals. ... In the new regime, government is basically no longer to be exercised over subjects and other things subjected through these subjects. Government is now to be exercised over what we could call the phenomenal republic of interests...
Description: THE REAL IRAN DEAL WAS BETTER THAN THIS (Dark Version) The real Iran deal was better than this. Not a opinion — a foreign policy fact. This distressed letterpress typography design delivers the comparison in four words that hit like a verdict. Bold civic commentary from Puff Sumo for everyone watching America’s nuclear diplomacy get dismantled in real time. The JCPOA had international inspectors, verified timelines, and multilateral backing. This one has chaos, capitulation, and a press conference. Wear the frustration. Wear the historical record. Heavyweight protest typography for the politically awake, the historically literate, and everyone paying attention.
Description: THE LAST IRAN DEAL WAS BETTER THAN THIS (Dark Version) The last Iran deal was better than this. Four words that land like a history lesson and an indictment at the same time. This distressed letterpress typography design captures the exhausted disbelief of watching competent diplomacy get torched for spectacle. Bold civic commentary from Puff Sumo for everyone who remembers when American foreign policy had allies, inspectors, and a framework that actually held. The last deal worked. This one is chaos dressed as negotiation. Heavyweight protest typography for the politically awake, the historically literate, and everyone still paying attention to what we threw away.
Description: Picking a favorite Billy Wilder film is kind of like trying to narrow down my favorite Beatles record - too many masterpieces to choose from; besides, it kind of depends on the mood. But if I had to choose, it would be The Apartment. In my opinion, it's a near-perfect film. In my poster, I wanted to capture my favorite moment, the ending. C.C. professes his absolute love and adoration to Miss Kubelik, and her response is, simply, "Shut up and deal." It's a romantic comedy in which the two stars never even kiss each other. And yet, at the end we all know they are going to be together. This kind of subtlety shows a respect for the intelligence of the audience that is rare, and one of many reasons it's one of the best ever, film-wise.
