Thelema Socks
Description: Thelema is a social or spiritual philosophy derived from Western esotericism. Thelema was developed in the early 1900s by Aleister Crowley, an English writer, mystic, and ceremonial magician. He believed himself to be the prophet of a new age, the Æon of Horus. The central philosophy of Thelema is in two phrases from Liber AL: “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law” and “Love is the law, love under will.”
Description: Danny Carey is a polyrhythmic shaman. Even with odd time signatures, he can make you dance (ask Alex Grey) or head bang. He is the dude on the drums, he is the master of mathematics and sacred geometry applied to sounds that make you spiral out... and this design is my homage to his talent.
Description: Minimalist Thelemic design featuring the sacred number 93 and the phrase "Love Is The Law." In Thelema, 93 represents the Greek words Thelema (Will) and Agape (Love), making it one of the most recognized symbols in Western esotericism and occult philosophy. Perfect for practitioners of Thelema, ceremonial magick, occult studies, hermetic traditions, esoteric spirituality, and admirers of Aleister Crowley's teachings.
Description: A vintage-inspired portrait of Aleister Crowley surrounded by occult symbols, candles, sacred geometry, and esoteric imagery. Featuring references to Thelema and ceremonial magick, this dark mystical composition captures the rebellious spirit and arcane philosophy of one of the most controversial occult figures in history.
Description: Rose Cross design as used by The Golden Dawn, a secret society devoted to the study and practice of the occult, metaphysics, and paranormal activities during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Aleister Crowley who founded Thelema was once a member of The Golden Dawn. Other famous members of The Golden Dawn included Bram Stoker, Arthur Conan Doyle, Edith Nesbit, Algenon Blackwood and Arthur Machen.
