Vargas Socks
Description: On September 14, 2002, the MGM Grand in Las Vegas hosted one of the most anticipated and fiercely contested junior middleweight showdowns in boxing history: Oscar De La Hoya versus Fernando Vargas. Billed as "Bad Blood," the bout served as a bitter grudge match between two proud Mexican-American champions at the peak of their careers. De La Hoya brought his trademark technical brilliance, lightning-fast hand speed, and elite-level boxing IQ. Vargas countered with ferocious aggression, devastating punching power, and relentless forward pressure. Both undefeated icons engaged in an intense war of words leading up to the opening bell, setting the stage for a brutal, high-stakes battle.
