Description: Last Dragon from my flight of dragons series of watercolor paintings! Shen Tsu He was the Gold/Yellow Wizards dragon, I believe master of air and skies if I remember properly. He was a bit of a challenge mostly because his body type is so different then the other four! I wanted to paint him in a way that looked balanced and like the style matched with the others (in case someone wanted to buy all five and display them together) I think I did ok, I went with a sort of twisty Celtic Knot pose and I think it works! I think his whiskers are a treat!
Description: 2020 has been a stressful year, while I love to paint digitally lately I have found watercolors to be very cathartic lately. I think its something about the tactile nature of traditional art. Anyway this is my take on 'Gorbash' from the animated movie "Flight of Dragons"one of my favorite movies growing up, and Gorbash was one of my fav dragons. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did painting it
