Description: In 1969 NASA knew that if they were going to try to make a Moon landing that they would have to bring a grill to the Moon. The Saturn V was equipped with a Weber Statesman kettle. The Apollo 11 mission was set to go and Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did indeed land on the moon that incredible day in July. The first order of business after planting the American flag, was to fire up the kettle and cook a few hot dogs to bring back to Mike Collins on the Lunar Orbiter.
