The Dreadnought Number of views as of 28th May 2018 = 725. The Dreadnought is a Burrell Traction Engine, built in 1926 and delivered to I. Ball & Sons of Lancashire for sawing and threshing. Charles Burrell & Sons were builders of steam traction engines, agricultural machinery, steam trucks and steam tram engines. The company were based in Thetford, Norfolk but ceased trading in 1928. The Dreadnought is now owned by Breamore Countryside Museum, at Breamore House, near Fordingbridge in Hampshire. The Dreadnought is pictured here at the Bournemouth & Poole Preservation Club’s annual Steam & Vehicle Show at Canford Park Arena, Poole, Dorset, England. Date: 20th June 2010.
