Highland Cattle are a Scottish cattle breed. They are adapted to the cold weather and stay outside throughout the year. We have been raising these fluffy cows since 2007 on our farm in Finland.

1899 American poster for the Swedish bicycle brand, Crescent, in the Art Noveau style of the day. Reproduction. There were no standard sizes for posters back then, like there are today in Europe and other places, so this might not fit your €5 IKEA frame.

Valentines Day Vintage 1899 Cherub Love Card Print

Tesla coil experiment. Electrical streamers sparking outwards from a large Tesla coil at left to another one at right, at the laboratory operated by Serb-US physicist and electrical engineer Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) at Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. Tesla (seated on the chair) operated this laboratory from 1899. The coil named after him is a type of resonant transformer that is used to produce high-voltage, low-current, high-frequency alternating current electricity. Tesla emigrated to the USA in 1884. His research led to key advances in areas such as alternating current power generation and transmission. The SI unit of magnetic flux density is named in his honour.

An artful recreation of the 1899 Five Dollar Silver Certificate. These are really beautiful bills and are a cool piece of numismatic history.

We will be restoring several ABC books and listing them here as they would make wonderful art for any child's bedroom wall. The Mc Loughlin Bros. were active from 1828 to 1920, the New York publishing firm Mc Loughlin Brothers pioneered color printing techniques for children's books. They specialized in retellings of classic children's stories and helped popularize illustrators like Thomas Nast, William Momberger, and Justin H. Howard. The art is in Public Domain as it was published over one hundred years ago

Winslow Homer's "The Gulf Stream" is a masterful and evocative seascape that captures the dramatic and perilous nature of the open ocean. Painted in 1899, the artwork presents a lone African American man adrift on a small, damaged boat amidst the churning waves of the Gulf Stream. The central focus of the composition is the man in the boat, shirtless and barefoot, who stoically confronts the challenges posed by the tumultuous sea. His expression is one of both resilience and vulnerability, embodying the strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity.
