The Tuskegee Airmen is the popular name of a group of African-American military pilots (fighter and bomber) who fought in World War II. Officially, they formed the 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the United States Army Air Forces. The name also applies to the navigators, bombardiers, mechanics, instructors, crew chiefs, nurses, cooks and other support personnel for the pilots.

The Tuskegee Airmen were African-American Pilots & Ground Crew who served with distinction in the 332nd Fighter Group & 477th BG in WWII. Also known as the Red Tails, they flew the P-39 Airacobra, P-40 Warhawk, P-47 Thunderbolt & notably the P-51 Mustang.

The P-51 D Mustang is a legendary WWII Fighter Plane. Its Range, Speed, Aerodynamic design and Firepower made it one of the stand out Warbirds of World War Two. This Vintage Detailed Design aims to capture the spirit of this formidable American Aircraft.

The 99th Fighter Squadron was initially equipped with Curtiss P-40 Warhawk fighter-bomber aircraft. The 332nd Fighter Group and its 100th, 301st and 302nd Fighter Squadrons were equipped for initial combat missions with Bell P-39 Airacobras (March 1944), later with Republic P-47 Thunderbolts (June–July 1944) and finally with the aircraft with which they became most commonly associated, the North American P-51 Mustang (July 1944). When the pilots of the 332nd Fighter Group painted the tails of their P-47s red, the nickname "Red Tails" was coined.

Lost Planet Airmen is a 1951 black-and-white American science fiction film produced and distributed by Republic Pictures, which is actually the feature film condensation of their 1949 12-chapter serial, King of the Rocket Men. Lost Planet Airmen was directed by Fred C. Brannon and written by Royal K. Cole and William Lively. The lead actors in Lost Planet Airmen were Tristram Coffin and Mae Clark.

A major part of American and world history, The Tuskegee Airmen were a group of pilots selected to run missions during World War II. They were the first primarily African American Pilot group forming the 332d Expeditionary Operations Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the United States Army Air Forces. War bond posters were created by the United States Government during World War 2 to raise money for the costs of war.
