St Mary's Church is located in Monk's Lane, Acton, a village to the west of Nantwich, Cheshire, England. Since 1967 it has been designated a Grade I listed building. A church has been present on this site since before the time of the Domesday Survey

The lovely quiet little churchyard at Abercorn Parish Church, three miles west of South Queensferry, Scotland, in the tiny hamlet of Abercorn. The site of Abercorn Parish Church has been sacred ground since St Ninian visited during a mission to the Picts in the late 400s. Before long his followers had established a church here, perhaps the earliest in this part of Scotland. And by the late 600s the Northumbrians established Abercorn as the seat of one of their four Bishops: the others residing at York, Hexham and Lindisfarne. The Bishop of the day, Bishop Trumwin, fled with his monks to Whitby after the Picts defeated the Northumbrians at the battle of Nechtansmere in AD685 (see our Historical Timeline). Creepy Halloween cemetery at midnight

A profusion of wild flowers in Spring bringing colour to the village churchyard in Pittington, County Durham. The buttercups, bluebells and dandelions spreading across the graveyard of this old village church where the gravestones often date back to the 1700's.

This design contains the illustration of a heartbeat with pallbearers carrying a coffin.

The (Phoenix) works passed into the hands of Mr. Bridgwood, by whom (being joined in partnership by Edward Clarke in 1858) they were carried on under the style of Bridgwood & Clarke. Mr. Bridgwood dying in 1864, Mr. Clarke became sole proprietor and carried on the concern until 1877, when he removed to the New Bridge Works, at Longport, and later to the Churchyard Works at Burslem. The marks used were EDWARD CLARKE impressed on the body of the ware, and the royal arms with supporters, garter, motto, etc., above a flowing ribbon on which are the words EDWARD CLARKE. PORCELAIN OPAQUE, and beneath, TUNSTALL. Edward Clarke continued at Burslem until about 1887.
