Description: Contrary to popular belief, Heathcliff was the original cartoon cat, being born in 1973, a full five years before Garfield. Unlike the other guy, Heathcliff is much more of a street cat. Sure, he has owners, but instead of focusing on living a life of luxury in his house, he chooses the thug life. He wanders the neighborhood, steals fish, gets into fights, chases girl cats, and overall, rules the neighborhood as the toughest animal on the block.
