Due to ill health I haven't had the chance to get away recently, so this painting (12x12 inches oil on board) comes from the archives of my trips earlier in the year. I was on Tiree (Scotland) back in May 2017, walking the coast, exploring as many of the stunning beaches as I could. Trigh Bhi is in the Southwest corner of the island, and sits amongst semi empty grasslands between two hills - that is except for a cluster of cottages at one end. What caught my attention, and has proved tricky to capture in paint has been the reflections of the building in the wet sand, disrupted by fingers of water from the waves washing in.

Sandsend Beach Sandsend beach is popular with fossil hunters, fishermen and walkers. In summer an area of the beach is zoned off for swimming. A café, gift shop and pub can be found close to the beach. The rocks on this lovely beach make the perfect foreground interest for a landscape photograph. This makes a nice focal point as a print or canvas in a prominent place on your wall. This image is available on all products listed here at Redbubble apart from the puzzles. The Marina Bay Sands Skypark and the Singapore skyline. I was just mesmerised by this view and could have taken lots of photos from all different angles -- that is, if I'd been allowed to use my tripod! I saw plenty of people covertly trying to use theirs but there were too many staff in this area so I didn't even try. Instead I set the camera to ISO 4000 and did my best with what I had!

Three Cliffs Bay is a fabulous part of the Gower Peninsular in South Wales. This is an unusual image because most people paint or photograph the cliffs (of which there are three!) themselves. This acrylic work is one of my favourites and the original is no longer available.

This image comes from a trip I did some years back now, climbing Scottish hills in winter. I took a day out to walk the coast around Morar. It was a grey moody day, but the sands shone out bright, and the photo I took captured the feeling well. It never did rain that day. I've now turned this into an original oil painting on board measuring 16 inches wide by 12 inches high.

Las Vegas Cityscape

The iconic beach huts at Wells-Next-The-Sea in Norfolk on the East Coast of the UK are famous for the high prices they command and you can't even sleep overnight in them. It is a beautiful spot that I have painted in both acrylic and watercolor and the design works on a whole range of products.
