A Vintage Vacation

Started as a very simple idea about a very simple activity - fishing. Most anglers will tell you it is not about catching the fish but the process of trying to - if they admit to it. It is something you concentrate on to the exclusion of everything else including every day hassles and worries...just a few hours of peace. I tried to capture that essence in this ink and mixed media painting. Thank you for the indulgence. Original artwork digitised.
