The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is a bright, energetic, willing pet companion with a thick, wooly coat perfectly suited for the American northeast where it originated. This is the Itowani Himotsuki Nikaigasa (糸輪に紐付き二階笠) mon, meaning "Two Stacked Tied Sedge Hat in Loop".

Dwarf Tree Frogs (A.K.A. Eastern Sedge Frogs) are tiny, usually no more than 3cm long, and have a habit of hiding out in unusual places. I found this specimen in the garden during a coffee break at one of my photography workshops - the students were in for a special treat that day!
