A tribute to the many names that were born and raised, lived in, or trained out of Windsor, Ontario over the years, from the 1930s to today!

Windsor's Art Neilson was a top star in the NWA territories as a singles wrestler, primarily in the Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, and Texas territories. He was also a tag team specialist on television for Chicago as well as Indiana, Stampede Wrestling, and others, winning multiple World Tag Team titles as partners with both Reggie "The Crusher" Lisowski and fellow Windsorite Stan Holek (aka Stan Neilson).

From 1952 to 1953, The Sheik and "Dynamite" Johnny Gates were the tag champions in Windsor, Ontario, causing bloody mayhem and holding the city hostage with a reign of brutal terror.

In 1973, African-Canadian wrestler Sandy Parker won the WWWA World Championship in All Japan Women's Wrestling, becoming the first African-descent women's World Champion and the first LGBTQIA+ World Champion in pro wrestling.
