This flag was used by the Green Mountain Boys, commanded by Ethan Allen .It was believed to have been carried into battle at Bennington. It was also the flag of the Vermont Republic and today serves as the flag for the Vermont National Guard. Because this flag appears on a field of green, it is only available in that color.
