Description: The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company, better known as A&P, was an American chain of grocery stores that ceased supermarket operations in November 2015, after 156 years in business. From 1915 through 1975, A&P was the largest grocery retailer in the United States (and until 1965, the largest U.S. retailer of any kind). This design features A&P's 1976 rebrand logo which featured a new sunrise effect with a set of colored bands leading up to an offset A&P mark in a new, more modern typeface - the first major update since 1859.
Description: The Great Space Coaster was a live action children's television show that was broadcast in first-run syndication from 1981 to 1986. The show was about three young singers who are brought to a habitable asteroid in space called Coasterville by a clown named Baxter who pilots the "space coaster," a roller coaster-like spaceship. The asteroid is populated by strange-looking, wise-cracking puppet characters such as Goriddle Gorilla, Knock Knock the Woodpecker, Edison the Elephant, and Gary Gnu (host of "The Gary Gnu Show"). Baxter is forever on the run from M.T. Promises, a nefarious ringmaster who plans to re-capture Baxter and return him to the circus he worked at before he escaped. Each episode ended with a different life lesson.
Description: Howard the Duck is a 1986 film based on the comic book character of the same name. The movie sees Howard suddenly beamed from Duckworld, a planet of intelligent ducks with arms and legs, to Earth, where he lands in Cleveland. There, he saves rocker Beverly from thugs and forms a friendship with her. She introduces him to Phil, who works at a lab with scientist Dr. Jenning. When the doctor attempts to return Howard to his world, Jenning instead transfers an evil spirit into his own body. The film was a critical and commercial failure, and is considered among the worst films of all time, but like all things terrible, it has also developed a cult following and even calls for a reboot or the sequel that never happened to finally be produced.
Description: Camelot Music was founded in Massillon, Ohio, in 1956. In 1965 the company opened its first retail store, in Canton, Ohio. As of 1998, the company operated 455 stores in 37 states nationwide. Camelot Music received the recording industry's prestigious N.A.R.M. (National Association of Recording Merchandisers) Retailer of the Year Award an unprecedented six times. Camelot Music, by all industry standards, was clearly the nation's leading mall music retailer. In late 1998, Camelot was acquired and consolidated.

The company designed, produced, and sold products for the military, government and law-enforcement markets, as well as the enthusiastic hobbyist. The show was created by Hugh Wilson and was based upon his experiences working in advertising sales at Top 40 radio station WQXI in Atlanta.
Description: Founded by Ralph Matthews and Karl Hassel in Chicago, Illinois, as Chicago Radio Labs in 1918 as a small producer of amateur radio equipment. The name "Zenith" came from ZN'th, a contraction of its founders' ham radio call sign, 9ZN. They were joined in 1921 by Eugene F. McDonald, and Zenith Radio Company was formally incorporated in 1923. The fledgling company soon became known for its high-quality radios and electronic innovations. Zenith introduced the first portable radio in 1924 and would go on to innovate and define the home television market. Zenith pioneered high-contrast, flat-face picture tubes, and the multichannel television sound (MTS) stereo system, and was one of the first companies to introduce a digital HDTV system.
Description: The Facts of Life is an American television sitcom that ran from August 24, 1979, to May 7, 1988, making it one of the longest-running sitcoms of the '80s. The series was a spin-off of Diff'rent Strokes, the series featured the Drummonds' former housekeeper Edna Garrett becoming the housemother of a dormitory at Eastland School, a private all-girls school in Peekskill, New York.
Description: The Love Boat was an American dramedy tv series set on the luxury cruise ship, S.S. Pacific Princess, which ran May 5, 1977 until Feb 27, 1987, plus, four three-hour long specials aired in 1986, 1987, and 1990. The series revolves around the ship's captain Merrill Stubing and a handful of its crew, with several passengers—played by various guest star actors for each episode—having romantic and humorous adventures. It was part of ABC's popular Saturday-night lineup of the time, which also included Fantasy Island until that series ended two years earlier in 1984.

Description: Where shopping is always a pleasure. Caldor Inc., launched in 1951, was a leading retailer of upscale discount goods in the northeastern US. Caldor expanded rapidly beginning in the early 1980s to become the fifth largest discount chain in the nation by the early 1990s. The company sold nearly $2.5 billion worth of goods and employed a work force of more than 20,000 in 1994. A discount industry pioneer, Caldor predates the start of both Kmart and Wal-Mart by more than a decade. Despite its successes, Caldor suffered from financial issues in its later years and the company was liquidated in 1999.
Description: Commodore was a North American home computer and electronics manufacturer. Commodore development of the home–personal computer industry in the 1970s and 1980s. The company developed and marketed one of the world's best-selling desktop computers of all time, the Commodore 64 (1982) and released its Amiga computer line in 1985, both of which still have extensive legacy followings to this day.
