Both? Both is good. I needed to have a maliciously compliant "safe for work" tank top in the bisexual pride flag colors, for, um, reasons. The pun on bisexual/bilingual is just a bonus, mmkay?

Nothing says "I am an actual human adult" like, well, wearing a shirt that says "ACTUAL HUMAN ADULT." It's technically the literal actual truth.

At around 2pm today I realized that while I had coffee earlier this morning... that's the only thing I've had today. This happens often enough that I thought I needed a reminder. So look, this is just a reminder to myself. That's why it's BACKWARDS ON PURPOSE. So I can read it in the mirror. Maybe it's a reminder that you need, sometimes, too?

Queers have a special kind of energy, of power, of strength and creativity, vulnerability and expression. With this illustration (the 32nd in my #100daysofqueerwomenandfemmes project) I wanted to celebrate that. Here’s to all the queers with the magic inside them.

It can be so tempting to lean into the feeling of exhaustion, the sense that change is impossible, the fear that despite our best efforts, monsters like Donald Trump and the people who support him, will still freaking win. The terror of that possibility can sometimes immobilize me, can send me into legitimate panic attacks, especially right before I'm trying to go to sleep at night. But, I try to remind myself that the things we believe in and are fighting for are the *right* & important things. These values are not rooted in hate, but are instead grounded in the belief that all human beings deserve safety, education, homes and healthcare.

The most famous line in William Shakespeare's comedy Twelfth Night is "If music be the food of love, play on." The least famous line in the play is "Let him let the matter slip, and I’ll give him my horse, gray Capilet." Why has Shakespeare chosen to give Sir Andrew Aguecheek's horse a name? We may never know.
