When Raymond winds up murdered, Carole and Sydney set out to find his killer and eventually decide to run the detective agency Raymond has left them. Despite having two of TV's hottest stars onboard, the series was set to fail from the start. The show's creator and director was canned after the pilot was completed, which lead to him walking with the writing team and their 13 episode scripts, something that lead to things going downhill after the pilot movie.
