Jethou Number of views as of 18th October 2018 = 560. Jethou is a small island of 44 acres in the Channel Islands, lying just to the south of Herm and due east of St Peter Port, the capital of Guernsey. From 1055 to 1414, Jethou was administered by the Abbots of Mont St Michel (Normandy, France) but in 1416, it became part of Henry the Fifth of England's estate. Jethou is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, so remains a Crown lease to this day.
