Aphrodite T-Shirts
Description: Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love stands before the door of a small ornate temple. Dressed in a flowing white gown, she glances over her shoulder at you as if the beckon you inside. Beside her stands a swan one of her symbols. Known by the Romans as Venus, she is sometimes identified as the daughter of Zeus, but also is said to have risen from the sea where the severed genitals of Uranus were thrown by Chronus. She is the goddess of love, lust, beauty, pleasure, passion, procreation, and prostitutes. She is married to the blacksmith god Hephaestus (Vulcan). I created this to be part of my Greek Mythology series. I really like the way this temple looks in this. Thanks for looking, Daniel

Description: Aphrodite is an ancient Greek goddess associated with love, beauty, pleasure, passion and procreation. She is identified with the planet Venus, which is named after the Roman goddess Venus, with whom Aphrodite was extensively syncretized. Aphrodite's major symbols include myrtles, roses, doves, sparrows, and swans.
Description: This wiccan design features the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite. She emerges from the clouds above and lovingly blesses the couple below. She wears a white dress and a crown of roses, both alluding to her connection to love and purity. In the foreground, you see the idealized man and woman. This symbolizes the temptation one can have, subsequently taking away one's focus from the divine. The tree behind the man burns with twelve flames representing each of the twelve zodiac signs.
