I have been in the autism community for many years. I have an autistic son, I am the author of 'The Children's Guide To Autism', am on the committee of an autism support group, and am a member of the Expert By Experience group at the University of Manchester regarding autism research projects. Although I have designed t-shirts for years this is my first relating to autism. We should be moving beyond one week of awareness and "effort" to do more.
