This windy, unsealed and steep road to Cardrona ski field goes from the Crown Range Road between Wanaka and Arrowtown in New Zealand.Near the junction is the famous Cardrona Hotel. Winding down a second totally accidental ski season in Otago. I didn't ride as much this year as I was distracted by hiking, but a couple of fresh dumps in spring got me all fired up! Chur for the good time Cardies!

Armed with a sketchbook and pens, I recently challenged myself to complete the 3000km Tour Aotearoa, sketching all 30 of the official photo checkpoints. I drew in rain, wind and bbq-hot temperatures, always aware that I had to keep riding on before it got dark! I'm super happy with the results and hope you enjoy them too.
